ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROJECT

IMPROVED OUTDOOR LIGHTING SYSTEM.

Thanks to the work carried out under this project, KELSEN can now boast LED lights enabling it to reduce not only its electricity consumption, but also maintenance and replacement costs, given the extended lifespan of the new lights. Another aim of this project has been to upgrade illumination at the facilities, introducing more and better lighting to different areas. The project received EU backing through the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) for the period 2014-2020.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROJECT

INSTALATION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS

Kelsen is committed to improving energy efficiency and using renewable energies in its daily activities. To this end, during the year 2023, it has invested in the installation of a 330 kWn photovoltaic plant, consisting of 724 panels of 460 Wp of monocrystalline solar PV technology. This investment has been supported by the Next Generation funds, promoted by the European Union, as well as the Basque Energy Agency (EVE) and the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (IDAE).
